Oct 12 Classic - Venice

Well, that was quaint. 28 drivers made for a really relaxed event, and allowed time for plenty of runs on the "practice course" down the south access road. Things ran along ahead of schedule most of the day, and best of all I'm pretty sure everyone had fun! (::)

It took me 6 runs to figure out the course, which was deviously simple. Everyone speculated as to whether a left or right entry to the turnaround would be better, when really what was important was proper setup and line through the 3 gates in the middle of the course. Well done, Professor. :salute:

Bill's got the wicked front camber back. Yay! So nice the way he's got that car - turn the front wheels and it just digs in. Rumor has it he's going to continue to tinker... :o

Damn I must've missed the Dunnellon event. But luckily I was able to attend the Venice event today. :rolling:

Edit - Looks like you fixed the title  .

I didn't fix anything... did I put Dunnellon in the title? Can't blame heatstroke this time...

I edited it for you.

Great event in spite of it's size!

I think I designed the perfect option with this course. People were guessing which way to take the turn-around all day long. Even the people who drove it fastest couldn't agree!

The fastest way to take it was the direction that was best.
When presented with such a conundrum, the best way to approach it is the direction that you feel you should take.
You will never be wrong if you take the path that you choose.
Whatever course you decide to follow is the one that will determine your result.
If you can accept failure, you will never be wrong.
If you cannot proceed with quickness, you will not proceed with stickeredness.

Going right was the least painful for me and I should have done it more, but I really didn't enjoy the course, it was frustrating and not fun. Gopro for some reason didn't charge so no video from me.

I enjoyed the practice course more.
